Jeff brings to Mount Elbert over $5.0 billion in real-assets experience, focused on asset acquisitions, corporate M&A, development, and finance. Jeff also brings a deep operational background in finance, reporting, and operational systems and processes.
Before co-founding Mount Elbert, Jeff worked in roles of increasing responsibility at CoreSite Realty Corporation, including as VP of Finance and Corporate Operations and as a member of the Company’s Senior Leadership Team and Investment Committee. During his tenure, Jeff led the financial-planning function supporting CoreSite’s 2010 IPO on the NYSE and led financial forecasting and corporate operations in scaling growth to a $4.4 billion equity market capitalization, $460 million in revenue, and 400+ employees. Prior to CoreSite, Jeff held roles of increasing responsibility in the Investment Banking Group at Wachovia / Wells Fargo Financial Institutions Group where he worked on M&A and securities issuances related to a variety of real-assets classes, including equity IPOs, secondary equity issuances in the mortgage-REIT and BDC sectors, and REIT issuances of exchangeable notes and preferred equity.
Jeff holds a B.S.B.A. in Finance and Accounting, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University.
